MONTEREY, Calif. - July 14, 2008 - Gamblers Express, a Monterey-based gambling trips specialists organization, announced today that it is giving away free trips to Las Vegas for local firefighters who have actively fought in either the Basin Complex or the Indians fire. The offer includes a round trip flight from Allegiant Air and a room for two individuals at one of Harrah's Casino Hotels in Las Vegas.

"We are rewarding the firefighters for their valiant efforts to put out the fires that are consuming so much of Monterey County. These men and women deserve some rest and relaxation," said Mike Collins, the President of Gamblers Express.

Effective immediately through September, Gamblers Express will send two couples or four individuals to Las Vegas from Monterey each week. Participants will depart on an Allegiant Air flight on a Sunday or Wednesday and return on a Wednesday or Friday, respectively.

The firefighters will enjoy accommodations at one of the following Harrah's properties: Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, Flamingo Las Vegas, Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino or Harrah's Las Vegas.

Qualifying participants for this free trip to Las Vegas are Monterey County firefighters and one travel companion of his or her choice, who are at least 21-years-old and able prove that they actively fought in one of the above-mentioned Monterey County fires.
