Patients enjoy convenient and comfortable 365-day physician-directed care at costs 50 percent lower than area hospitals

November 18, 2010

MONTEREY, CALIF.– Dr. David Craig Wright is pleased to announce the opening of his infusion center this week at 80 Garden Court Road, Suite 102 in Monterey. The 6-chair facility offers – among many other infusion treatments – antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral, immunotherapy and infusions for osteoporosis and multiple sclerosis.

"I am thrilled to open an infusion center in Monterey that truly caters to the patient. We provide 365-day per year, physician-directed care. The facility is very comfortable and convenient for patients in need of treatment, and the staff is great!" said Dr. Wright.

Unlike many infusion centers, Dr. Wright's Infusion Center accepts all health insurance and Medicare and has an infectious disease expert onsite 365 days per year, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Center's rates are at least 50 percent lower than hospitals. The lowest cost provider for intravenous antibiotic therapy, Dr. Wright's Infusion Center also administers anti-infectives, immunoglobulins and intravenous Reclast for osteoporosis, as well as mercury-free unit dose Influenza vaccines.

In 2009, Dr. Wright came out of retirement after over 30 years of experience seeing patients and working in the biopharmaceutical industry to open a private practice in Carmel, Calif., and most recently his infusion center. Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease, Dr. Wright holds 15 patents and is a graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Medical School at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. He completed his internship at Columbia Presbyterian/Harlem Hospital in New York and his residency in Internal Medicine and Infections Disease and Tropical Medicine training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Wright's Infusion Center offers patients free parking, handicap parking and no steps into the Center, making it very accessible for individuals with disabilities.
