Chaminade Culinary Team Installs Gingerbread Village Bringing to Life the Classic Holiday Movie “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer”
SANTA CRUZ, CALIF.– Come visit the Island of Misfit Toys! Chaminade Resort & Spa's culinary team has brought all the magic and holiday memories of the classic Christmas movie "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" to life in their elaborate Gingerbread Village.
Led by Executive Chef Beverlie Terra, a team of eight "elves" created the fantastical display using over 150+ pounds of confectioner's sugar. It took 120 hours of meticulous work to create the winter wonderland full of hand-painted characters and hand-sculpted houses that bring the Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer theme to life.
The Chaminade Gingerbread Village will be on display from November 23rd through Christmas Day and is free to the public.
