Holiday Family Fun on Cannery Row with Santa Claus and his Reindeer!

MONTEREY, Calif. – Spread holiday cheer on Cannery Row beginning Friday, November 23, 2012 with the 18th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, full of wonderful spirit and family festivities. Family entertainment will be from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and include Christmas carolers, balloon artists, the magical elf and reindeer, which will be located in the Plaza in front of Bubba Gump's. Once Santa Claus arrives at 6 p.m. the Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin. Families and their children will be able to meet Santa Claus from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cannery Row's Steinbeck Plaza.

In addition, Santa Claus will be on Cannery Row throughout the holiday season on Saturdays and Sundays from November 24th to December 22nd at 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The 18th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is FREE to the public. Event parking is available in the Cannery Row Garage located at the intersection of Foam and Wave Streets. The first hour of parking is FREE before 4 p.m. and FREE after 4:00 p.m. when you show your "939" drivers license.
