Café Fina and Domenico's on the Wharf Announce "Skate for Schools" Holiday Initiative
Bring your ice rink admission ticket-stub to Café Fina or Domenico's on the Wharf and 20 percent of your dinner bill will be donated to your MPUSD school of choice
MONTEREY, CALIF.– Café Fina and Domenico's on the Wharf announce today their "Skate for Schools" program, a holiday initiative running in conjunction with the restaurants' sponsorship of the annual ice rink located in the Custom House Plaza at the end of Alvarado Street in Monterey. For those patrons who bring in ice rink admission ticket-stubs, Café Fina and Domenico's will donate 20 percent of their dinner bill to the MPUSD School of their choice.
"Having grown up in Monterey, I have a great appreciation for our schools and our young people. Café Fina and Domenico's especially want to recognize and support them this holiday season," said Dominic Mercurio, owner of Café Fina and co-owner of Domenico's on the Wharf.
Café Fina and Domenico's, along with the Portola Hotel & Spa, California State Parks and Magic Ice USA, will turn the Custom House Plaza into a wintry playground November 20, 2010 through January 9, 2011 with the only ice rink in Monterey County.
The ice rink is open daily Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Adult tickets are $12; children 12 and under, $10; and skate rentals, $3. Private parties can reserve the rink by calling (831) 649-2685.
