Barnyard Shopping Village Presents Bach at the Barnyard
Family-friendly, courtyard serenade showcases local, Bach-inspired musicians

CARMEL, Calif. - July 10, 2007 - In honor of the Carmel Bach Festival's 70th season, The Barnyard Shopping Village presents the inaugural Bach at The Barnyard this Friday, July 13th at 2 p.m. This live, family-friendly outdoor concert will offer guests melodic sounds and beautiful scenery in the stunning Barnyard gardens. Bach at The Barnyard will showcase a blend of great composers and pieces, including Cazon III by Gabrieli; Canzona by Marini; The Britain Courtly Dances; and numerous musical compositions by Bach during this half-hour courtyard serenade. Musicians performing on percussion and brass instruments, include: Leonard Opp, Susan Enger, Loren Tayerle, Bruce Chrisp, Suzanne Mudge, Wayne Solomon and Kevin Neuhoff.
In addition, guests are encouraged to wind their way through The Barnyard's gardens and peruse the wide variety of local merchants and restaurants located throughout the nine barns, while enjoying the sounds of Bach and other notable composers.
