MONTEREY, CALIF. - APRIL 28, 2008 - Spring is here and with it the annual MayFaire Orchid Show and Sale, taking place May 3-4 at the American Tin Cannery in Pacific Grove. Sponsored by the Carmel Orchid Society, the event will turn the indoor mall into an exotic island of beauty, with displays by many orchid growers as well as potting demonstrations and orchid supplies.

WHAT: The MayFaire Orchid Show & Sale features scheduled demonstrations by local orchid specialists on potting and culture, and assistance on fertilizing, watering and placing orchids for optimum growth and blooming. The annual event attracts thousands of people from throughout California, from the sophisticated consumer choosing specimen plants to the inspired first-time orchid buyer.
