August 6, 2007
CARMEL, Calif. - August 6, 2007 - Khaki's Men's Clothier will host the 9th annual Khaki's Ferrari Event, August 18th from 4:30 - 7:00pm, at the Barnyard Shopping Village in Carmel. Leading off the Monterey Peninsula's week of automobile extravagance, car enthusiasts are invited to admire extraordinary cars, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and other exotic Italian automobiles, while enjoying fine wines and tantalizing food amidst enthusiasts and collectors from around the world.

Each year the parking lot adjacent to Khaki's Men's Clothier at the Barnyard Shopping Village is transformed into an automobile aficionado's dream. Filled with exotic Italian cars, primarily Ferraris, the parking lot will be blocked off to allow visitors the opportunity to stroll among the finely-detailed cars and chat with the owners. Viewing is open to the public.

Accompanied by a musical backdrop from the Carmel Youth Center Jazz and Blues Band, Monterey County wineries will pour fine wines, and cuisine from the Barnyard Shopping Village's international restaurants will be served for all to enjoy. In addition, attendees are invited to bid on silent auction items and participate in a drawing for a Khaki's of Carmel Gift Certificate.

The public is welcome to enjoy the food and wine for a $25 donation, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Carmel Youth Center. Car owners may register the day of the event, and no registration fee is required.

Khaki's Men's Clothier is located at 3744 The Barnyard in the Sierra Barn. For more information please call (831) 625-8106.
