Restaurant goes Farm to Fork: Monterey Chef grows the Fruits, Nuts and Veggies he Serves
California Bountiful TV is a 30-minute weekly program that features stories on the people, places and lifestyles that have made California the nation's largest food-producing state. During a seven-minute spot, Dominic Mercurio, restaurant owner of Café Fina and Domenico's On The Wharf shares his passion for being actively involved as an owner, chef and farmer. The show highlights how Mercurio grows a variety of organic produce on his 300-acre farm that is then harvested by enthusiastic employees and brought back to be served at both restaurants. Celebrity visits and each restaurant's stunning views from Old Monterey Fisherman's Wharf are also highlighted. California Bountiful airs on dozens of broadcast stations, cable outlets and satellite services.
