Greenfield Police Department hires new Chief
The City of Greenfield announced that it is hiring a new Police Chief.
The department is hiring Gregory Allen, who was a commander and acting chief between 2015 and 2017. He is expected to start in September.
"We are very pleased and proud that Chief Allen has agreed to come (back) to Greenfield," said City Manager Paul Wood. "The combination of his experience, demeanor, leadership, local knowledge, and relationships make him a uniquely qualified individual to serve our community."
