City of Gonzales handing out internet hotspot devices at drive-thru events
The City of Gonzales was set to launch "Internet for All" and distribute wireless hotspot devices to residents at a Community Summit earlier this month, but since it was canceled due to coronavirus, the city has had to get creative.
On Friday, the city hosted its first drive-thru event for residents to pick up devices. For those who were not able to go Friday, there are two more events scheduled for March 26 and 27 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 107 Centennial Drive.
