Highlighting the accomplishments and signature style of renowned golf course designer, Gene Bates, the rejuvenation of Carmel Valley Ranch is featured. Originally designed by Pete Dye, the Ranch's course recently received a face-lift under the guidance of Bates. Additional features of the article include a brief overview of the renovation of the golf clubhouse, as well as its restaurant and conversion of resort guest suites to luxury condo-hotel residences.
