Dominic Mercurio Began Working on Old Fishermans Wharf at Age 10
In September the Carmel Pine Cone food writer featured a chef profile and picture of Executive Chef Dominic Mercurio. This full page article detailed Dominic's heritage, including how he was introduced to the restaurant business as a child, and provided information about the menu and food served at the restaurant. The article provided details about the fruits and vegetables grown on his 300-acre farm in the Central Valley and used in the recipes at the restaurant and information about the seafood from Alaska. Special insight was given about Dominic's relationship with John Madden and the banquet he organized and prepared for over 500 guests when Madden was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame.
