Armanasco Public Relations, Inc. Team:

David Armanasco, a native of Monterey, is president of Armanasco Public Relations, Inc. (APR), which he founded in February 1985. Versed in all aspects of marketing, public relations, community relations, public affairs and crisis management, David sets the pace for his expert leadership team, advising them as required and acting as a facilitator with clients and client issues. He is also well known for his expertise in land use, agriculture, banking, transportation, the arts, and utility industry issues. David served on the California Coastal Commission (1996 - 1999) and has received the Congressional Award and the California State Senate and Assembly Leadership Awards. In addition to his role as president of APR, David is an active participant in numerous charitable, community, arts and educational organizations.

Elizabeth Diaz, a native of Monterey County, is the vice president and general manager of Armanasco Public Relations, Inc. She joined the firm in 1997 with a broad background in office management and business administration that enables her to effectively plan, direct and coordinate daily operations, oversee the management of all client accounts and staff and assist with new business development. She is also proficient in a variety of computer applications and supervises the firm's computer network and website. Prior to joining APR, Elizabeth worked in several management positions for Lucky Stores. She was honored as an outstanding philanthropist and received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for her volunteer work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monterey County.

A native of Monterey, Jessica Price is an Account Executive with APR. Previously, she worked as the Public Relations Manager for Ciao Systems in Arlington, Va., and as the Director of Special Projects for The Vineyard in McLean, Va., as well as held internships at Ogilvy & Mather in Beverly Hills, Ruder Finn in Washington, D.C. and Weber Shandwick in Los Angeles. Jessica is a published writer and blogger having multiple pieces appear in Northern Virginia Magazine, Washington Spaces magazine and on her alma mater’s fan page, www.WeAreSC.com. Jessica has her MPS in Journalism from Georgetown University and her BA in Public Relations from the University of Southern California. She serves as the current Director of Public Relations for the Monterey County Young Professionals Group and was the President and Webmaster of USC’s Public Relations Student Society of America.

Andrew Armanasco, son of David Armanasco, joined Armanasco Public Relations, Inc. (APR) in July, 2010 as an Account Associate. He is responsible for providing assistance to the account teams to implement and execute various client programs. Andrew graduated from Monterey Peninsula College with an Associate Degree in Business and attended the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma.
Andrew has experience in communications, client relations, sales and marketing. Prior to joining APR he worked in the Merchant Services Department at Monterey County Bank where his responsibilities included assisting merchants, setting up new client accounts and cultivating and retaining business relationships. In 2007, Andrew enlisted in the United States Army. During his three-year commitment, Andrew saw two tours in Iraq as a team leader. He received the Solider of the Cycle award, given to the top recruit at the completion of basic training, received three Army Commendations Medals (ARCOM), three Army Achievement Medals (AAM) and countless coins for valor and leadership on and off the battlefield. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys golf and the outdoors.

Norah Nigos is an administrative manager with APR, where she provides administrative and office management support to the president and vice president. She manages accounts payable and receivable for the firm, client billing, office supply inventory and expenses, and maintains the company client files and records. Norah has been instrumental in the success and execution of various pro-bono company projects and events. In addition, she assists the client-serving account teams with design, layout and creative direction for invitations, flyers, ads and direct mail pieces. Norah worked as a legal assistant for a law firm in Tucson prior to moving to Los Angeles, where she was a Human Resources Coordinator for CBS Broadcasting, Inc. She is a former volunteer for the Los Angeles Zoo and for Viacom, Inc.’s community outreach programs. Since joining APR in 2004, she has participated in events for the SPCA of Monterey County and the California Historical Artillery Society and volunteers for Peace of Mind Dog Rescue.
